About us

Facade Computer was established in September 2003 by Karthik Seshan and Andrew Fader of Briarcliff Manor, New York.

The company was founded to show our unique, innovative style of computing: relatively small form factor computers in appealing, stylish cases. Facade (pronounced fah-SAHD) Computer is aimed at giving the best looking PC with the most flexible specifications at the lowest cost possible. Our high-quality cases are made from collectible antiques and vintage appliances.

On September 9, 2004, Facade Computer appeared in The New York Times in "A Digital Generation's Analog Chic" by Juliet Chung (free registration required; additional photo).
